Inventory is decreasing and prices are 70% more affordable that they have been historically. Buyers have been saving and are now starting to take advantage of low interest rates. A few buyers who had short sales within the past 2 years typically have to wait until 2 years is up or unless they get a co-signer, but many of these folks are coming back into the market. The article predicts that housing will drop another small percentage by next fall when prices will begin to rise again in Tampa.
